The Big Goose is one of Mornington Peninsula’s most popular attractions offering several attractions and activities for the kids and kids at heart. The farm has a combination of animals and indoor/outdoor play areas, which is perfect for a family day out, school trip, or even birthday parties!
As you explore, you will learn about the different farm animals and their breeds. They have chickens, cows, lambs, and goats. They even have baby animals for you to meet such as piglets, chicks, rabbits, and calves. Apart from seeing meeting these love creatures, you’ll also get a chance to experience old-fashioned farm activities such as riding a tractor.

Walk-About Farmyard
One of the first things you can do is to visit the walk-through farmyard where you can get up close and personal with the farm animals. Make sure to bring some feeds because these animals can get cheeky…and hungry!
Tractor Rides
Up for a little farm adventure? The Big Goose tractor ride allows you to journey behind the scenes around the farm and to see the bigger animals such as the cows, camels, ostriches, and more.
Red Barn Open
The red barn is home to baby animals such as rabbits and guinea pigs. Here you’ll get hands-on experience on how to feed and handle these little babies.
Wildlife Park
The farm also has a wildlife area where you can find their Eastern Grey Kangaroos, Tamar Wallabies, Agile Wallabies, and Emus. Again, make sure to bring some food for these gentle creatures.
Playgrounds
After checking out all the animals, go ahead and have some fun at the playgrounds. The area is packed with three slides, a rock-climbing wall, a speed boat, a truck with operational windows and steering wheel, sandpit, cubby house, and more!
Rotunda Café
Tired and hungry? After playing and exploring the farm, head over to the Rotunda Café and fill in your tummies. They serve all-day breakfast plus a range of lunch options and sweet treats. Be sure to try out their coffee with beans from the Little Rebel Coffee locally based in Dromana.
